Tool Quality and Verification Methods
ToolHub does not treat page count as quality. Every indexed tool should complete a defined task, expose its assumptions and limits, and provide enough static documentation for both users and search systems to understand what makes it useful.
Selection and duplicate review
A new tool is compared with the existing library by input, processing rule, output, and use case. A different keyword is not enough. When two pages genuinely solve the same problem, ToolHub first tries to combine or expand the functionality; if no meaningful distinction remains, the weaker URL should permanently redirect to the stronger page.
Formulas and specifications
Calculation pages document their implemented expression, variables, units, default example, and a one-input sensitivity check. Format and protocol tools identify the fields they parse or generate and should follow public standards or primary technical documentation whenever available.
Static content and browser behavior
The interactive workspace may be enhanced by JavaScript, but the page source also contains field documentation, examples, limitations, and a review record. Browser checks cover desktop and mobile widths, invalid input, result updates, copy or download actions, navigation, themes, and overflow.
Privacy and external requests
Most tool input is processed locally in the active browser tab. Public network lookups, hosting, libraries, and advertising can still create ordinary third-party requests. Tool documentation and the Privacy Policy distinguish local input processing from those network connections.
Corrections and ongoing review
